Four individuals' experiences during and following a psilocybin truffle retreat in the Netherlands

Abstract This article reports on the experiences of four healthy individuals who attended a legal psilocybin truffle retreat in Netherlands. The study employed qualitative phenomenological approach, using semi-structured interviews to gain an understanding participants' and their after-effects. experiential themes that emerged from these case studies closely match have been identified previous psilocybin, including variability experience, presence mystical-type features, significant changes subjective sense self, generalized connectedness. Participants framed narrative accounts around moments key insight, insights were related connection: others, broader relational ontology. Embodiment, currently understudied topic psychedelic research, also as theme. presented here provide preliminary evidence suggest for well-controlled supportive setting, high dose can lead enduring positive after-effects last up twelve months.
